After Alex and I made the EDIFYEP, we started working on our next project Ignition. This time we wrote a full album’s worth of songs that leaned more toward the pop, electronic, and even dubstep. Alex maintained his rap lyrics and flow but also started writing melodies and singing his lyrics. I ventured out myself and sang some backup vocals. This time we decided to produce the album entirely on our own and composed and mixed everything between the two of us with Alex handling the final mastering. The local talent featured on this album this time included Laura Jane, DJ Morf’d (Bretton Selent), and Alex Grant. This album took longer to make, finally releasing in 2015, but remains to both us as a great compilation of some of our most favourite work we’ve ever collaborated on. Unfortunately, it’s no longer available online to buy, but I was able to include excerpt clips of each track right here for your enjoyment:
